First, try to reboot the system and router. Check the connection again, if the problem still persists, follow the methods below.
Method 1 – Use Command Prompt:
Use command prompt to solve the issue:
1.Type ‘cmd’ on the Windows search box.
2.Right click on ‘Command Prompt’ desktop app.
3.Select ‘Run as administrator.
4.It will ask you to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, select ‘Yes’ option.
5.Type ‘net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice’ .
6.Press Enter
7.Again, type ‘net localgroup Administrators /add localservice’ .
8.Press Enter.
9.You will get a message ‘The command completed successfully’.
10.It means that the error has been fixed.
11.Type ‘Exit’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to close this window.
Method 2 – Check Diagnostic Policy Service Status:
Follow the steps:
1.Press ‘Windows + R’ keys.
2.Type ‘services.msc’ on the Run dialog box.
3.Click on ‘OK’.
4.It will open the ‘Services’ Window.
5.Scroll down and right click on ‘Diagnostic Policy Service’.
6.Choose ‘Properties’.
7.On Properties window, select ‘General’ tab.
8.Choose ‘Startup type: Automatic’.
9.Click on ‘Apply’ and then ‘OK’.
10.Now, check the network connectivity by troubleshooting networks.
Method 3 – Network Adapters Reinstallation:
If this diagnostics policy service did not solved by the above methods, then it can be caused by the malfunctioned network adapters. You need to reinstall it to fix the issue. Follow the steps:
1.Press ‘Windows + R’ keys.
2.3Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ on the Run dialog box.
3.Click on ‘OK’.
4.It will open the ‘Device Manager’ window on the screen.
5.Double click on ‘Network adapters’ option.
6.Pick the respective driver.
7.Right click on it and select ‘Uninstall device’.
8.It will take some time to complete the process.
9.Go to the ‘Action’ tab on the menu bar.
10.Select ‘Scan for hardware changes’.
