Method 1 – Check The Mute Button:

5.By default, the three items will be enabled or set to on.
6.Now disable the Use Messages to Improve Transcription and Help Develop New Features.
7.You will get a warning message that the New Features are not going to properly work. The recorded commands are a bit less accessible to Amazon.

Method 4 – Switch Off The Drop-In Feature:

The echo devices can communicate the person in the living room with someone resting in the bedroom. The Drop-In feature is like an audio and video intercom. Through this, the Echo devices will communicate without the slight obstruction associated with the phone call. But, if you are not comfortable, then disable it. To do so:

1.Open the Alexa app.
2.Then expand its Settings.
3.Choose the one you wish to change.
4.Then select Communication.
5.You can then turn off the drop-icon option.

Method 5 – Delete The Voice History:

You can delete all your chats with Alexa. It will be the only solution to Alexa’s always listening issue. Log into the History and then erase the conversations with Alexa. To do so:

1.Go to Settings.
2.Then go to Alexa Account.
3.Next, scroll down to open Alexa Privacy.
4.Move on to review Voice History and your list of the Echo interactions will get displayed in front of you.
5.Next, go to the date range box and choose All History.
6.Now hit Delete all recordings from the History category.
7.All the previous recordings are deleted now.

You can also delete every voice history by saying “ Alexa delete everything I said” or something like that!
