Method 1 – Change The File Name Or File Extension:

Make sure that it has a shorter name and a ‘.jpg’ file extension. Also if it is too big in file size, reduce the image file size from any photo editor app like Paint or any web app.
Method 2 – Check The Photo App:
Microsoft Photo Viwer app is the default app to view photos set by Windows. If there is any issue with the app, it will fail to open any photo. You have to update, repair or reset the Photo Viewer app. For this, you have to open the Microsoft Store and search for the photo app. Click on update, if there is any new version available there.
If the issue is still there, then try to repair the app. Windows has an in-built repair feature in Windows to fix this type of issue. To do so:

Try to open the JPG file with a different photo app. There are many alternatives available on the web. Download and install any desired photo app. After installing the new app, just right-click on the particular JPG file. Then, select the Open with option and choose the newly installed photo app from the option. If the issue gets resolved, then make it the default photo viewer app from the Photo Settings option.
Method 4 – Run A SFC Scan:
