How To Increase Dedicated Video RAM On Windows 10 And 11. In this article, you will get to know how increasing Video RAM will help and how to easily increase dedicated video RAM. Video RAM is the memory that is used by GPU (Graphic Processing Unit). It stores the video data generated by the GPU.
All the images that you see on your screen are shown by GPU. If you see buffering of the screen while using the high graphic programs, this is because of the low video RAM storage. You can fix this issue by increasing the dedicated video RAM on the device.
How Increasing Video RAM Will Help?
VRAM is the stored graphical data that is responsible for displaying mages on the screen. It is just like normal RAM, where the graphics-related data is stored. It is located near the GPU, where it can send the stored video for faster processing. If you do not have VRAM, then your system will get depend on the RAM to store the video data. It will make your PC slow and your screen will stutter while using high graphics apps or programs.
Sometimes, the integrated GPU does not have enough VRAM to run the high graphic apps. So, you have to buy a separate graphics card that comes with the allocated VRAM.
