How To Fix The Installer Has Insufficient Privileges To Access This Directory Error?
Method 1 – Allow The Required Permissions:
This error occurs when the installer doesn’t have the required permissions for installing the program. Changing the allowed permissions should fix this error. To do so:
1.Right-click on the installation file that is causing this error.
2.Click on the Properties option from the pop-up menu.
3.Select the Security tab.
4.Then click on the Edit option.
5.Select the SYSTEM option in the Group or user names section.
6.Then, click on the Full control box below the Allow option in the Permissions section.
7.Finally, click on Apply and OK to save the changes.
If the SYSTEM option is not in the Group and user names section, then add it manually. To add SYSTEM option:
1.Follow the first 3 steps from above to Edit the Group and user names section.
2.Click on the Add option.
3.Type SYSTEM, in the Enter the object names to select section.
4.Click on the Check Names option.
5.If the input is valid, then click on OK.
6.Now, the SYSTEM will get added.
7.Follow the steps above to change the Permissions of SYSTEM.

3.Press Enter to open the Windows Defender.

5.Turn off the Real-time protection toggle to disable the Windows Defender.

1.Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open the Task Manager.
